By revealing all the info in HubSpot, GTM teams will crush it, and sales will thank you for it!

To handle Cards and Layout in HubSpot like a pro, we advise you to read:

⚠️ For this tutorial, we will create the first tabs and cards as a layout in HubSpot for the company view.

If you want to apply these tips to contacts or other object views, go to the associated object view to edit.

1️⃣ Go to the menu to edit the HubSpot View

  1. Go to your settings

  2. In the data management section, go to "Objects" then "Companies"

  3. Click on "Customize the middle column"

4. Choose the view you want to edit

2️⃣ Create your tabs

Create tabs if needed to organize your different layout

πŸ’‘ Expert tips: use the overview tabs for a company highlight then create a tab for each purpose

3️⃣ Create your cards

There are currently five types of tabs:

  • Association table: show properties of associated records in a table

    βœ…

    • The most useful card

    • Filter data who showed up

    • Select as many properties as wished

    ❌

    • Sort option isn't available yet -> better to build a table for each "filtered property"

  • Association label list: Group associated records by their association labels

    βœ…

    • Good if you have an association labeled

    ❌

    • Association being not available in workflow yet, hard to play with

  • Data highlights: Show up to four featured properties

    βœ…

    • Good to display the property of the object

    ❌

    • Can't display property of other objects associated

    • If you display a sentence, a card per property is a better choice

  • Property list: List up to twelve properties of the object

  • Report card: Choose a single-object report to show in the middle column of a record page

πŸ’‘ Expert tips: if you may use properties with long text, it's better to use data highlights to display the property for each one of them:

4️⃣ Configure your layout on the intent, account, and contact views

Replicate the configuration for all the objects you need to display to your teams.
